Product Description
Taboose Classic Elastic Waist Pants: Our best-selling, drawstring elastic-waist pants now have an improved zipper length and more great updates. Constructed of our 9.1-oz. cotton Bedford weave fabric (Bedford is named after a town in England, and the fabric is a unique piqué weave that's ridged like corduroy and is especially strong and durable). With a longer zip fly, two quarter front pockets and two button-through rear pockets.

"My husband loves these pants! Comfortable yet nice looking in a casual way . Ordered him 2 more pair! He is 5’9”, 200 lbs & wears a L, which after washing, is not too tight. The pants wash well, & if taken right from the dryer & hung up, do not need ironing. They also travel well. "

"The pants seem to be high quality, although I just received them and haven't had time to see how they hold up. The fit seems good, roomy but not super loose. I ordered a Large and I have a 35 inch waist. 34 inch inseem is a little longer than 34, which probably allows for some shrinkage. "

"These seem well made for a casual pant. I just wish the cloth was less thick. They seem to me a little bulky, although I am not returning them. If you are looking for a lighter flowing pant, these are not for you."

"Washed them twice and am wearing them now. I'd say the feel is more like work pants not like leisure pants. They are not fleeced lined and they're not nearly as warm and fuzzy as the pants of 10 years ago. I have several pairs of old worn out Territory Ahead pants that I truly love. They've always been so comfortable. Not these. This is not the first time I've been disappointed. Territory Ahead is off my list."

The two newer pairs (cactus and black) have the improved zipper and slightly more straight legged - the old pair is more tapered to the ankle. Pockets are a bit larger as well. These are all good things. I wear 'em like jeans."

"Thank you for bringing back the original . . . almost. The fit is not quite as relaxed as the true original (laid the out side by side and the original, originals have a touch more room in the seat) but they are darned close . . . and much more comfortable than most of your other pants. Actually, these are the only TA pants I can wear comfortably. I can actually sit in these! I am 6'1" 195 lbs and the xl fit fine. A touch long in the leg but fine for knocking around the house."

"Here are some perfect Travel Pants! The fit is perfect and comfortable. The style and fabric is nice enough to be formal and still be tough enough to stand up to the rigors of travel! I got Black so it goes with my other clothing items. The idea is to have only ONE pair of pants on the trip! I had a local seamstress add stitching through the seat, crotch and down the inside legs for extra strength! No blow outs because just one pair! Easily Five Stars! No better travel pants"

"Yes, the original fit is BACK! These are my favorite casual pants, and I was dismayed at the last pair I ordered. They just didn't fit well at all. The rise was just too short. Others had the same complaint. I jumped at the chance to order them again when they were described as having a "longer zipper". Thank you TA for bringing back an original. (Caution-this applies to the "classic" version only. It appears the prior version of these pants are still being offered at reduced price.)"
